Steve's 17 years of construction experience began in the Midwest and brought him to the West Coast in 1984. His extensive experience in the field has enabled him to fully understand every phase of the construction process - from space plan to finished product.

Steve is well-seasoned in the art of subcontractor scheduling and coordination, during which the client's budget and time frame are of paramount concern. He sets the highest standards of quality and follows through to see that these standards are met.

Bringing projects in on time and within budget, while satisfying the client completely, is the primary goal he sets for WestLand, its employees and its subcontractors. His wide range of experience includes:

• Familiarity with local building departments

• Working and personal relationship with Plan Checkers and Field Inspectors

• Scheduling and tracking projects

• Interpreting engineered and architectural drawings

• Administering contracts

• Material specification, requisition and purchasing

Prior to joining WestLand, Steve was a project manager with ASI General Contractors where he supervised projects in Torrance, Long Beach, Downey, Lakewood, Lomita and Redondo Beach. Prior to that he was Project Manager for Interior Commercial Development. While in Iowa, Steve was a superintendent for Zobac Construction, specializing in commercial and industrial construction in the Cedar Rapids / Iowa City area.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa.
